Olahraga adalah semua bentuk aktivitas fisik yang dilakukan baik dalam bentuk kompetitif atau juga santai.

Sports generally aim to maintain or improve physical abilities and skills while providing a relaxing effect to the person doing the sport and entertainment to the person watching.

 

Types of Sports
Today, there are various types of sports that you can do, depending on individual interests and needs. However, here are some examples of common sports:

  • Running

  • Cycling

  • Swimming

  • Yoga

  • Weightlifting

  • Aerobics

There are still many other types of sports such as basketball, badminton, gymnastics and many more.

 

Benefits of Exercise for Body Health:

  • Keep away from various diseases

  • Improve body posture

  • Stimulate ideal growth

  • Increase thinking power

  • Increase appetite and optimal digestive system

  • Prevent the risk of injury due to accustomed body muscles

  • Improve blood circulation

  • Maintain healthy bones and joints

  • Reduce the risk of disease

  • Meet a healthy community

  • Increase the ability to carry out daily activities

  • Stimulate creativity because the brain gets oxygen

 

The Right Time to Exercise:
A common rule of thumb is to do 30 minutes of moderate physical activity every day, with a total of at least 150 minutes of moderate movement each week.

 

Things to Consider Before and After Exercising
Before exercising:

  • Sufficient warm-up

  • Choose appropriate clothing

  • Eat snacks 1-2 hours before exercising.

  • Drink enough water

  • Pay attention to your health condition if you have a specific health condition or are recovering from an injury.

After exercise:

  • Proper cooling

  • Get enough rest

  • Consume nutritional intake, especially protein

  • Drink water for rehydration

  • Evaluate and record progress to set targets
