1. Drink more water
The best way to prevent dehydration is to consume more fluids. Especially when the weather is hot or doing activities in the sun.
2. Determine the color of the urine
This method can describe how hydrated the body is. If the urine produced is lighter in color, then the body is getting enough fluids. However, if the color produced is dark yellow, it is a sign that the body is dehydrated. Immediately increase fluid consumption in the body.
3. Drink more while exercising
The body needs more water when a person exercises at a high intensity or for a long period of time. It is said that athletes who do high-intensity activities can lose 10 percent of their body weight through sweat.
4. Consume More Electrolytes when Needed
Drinking water alone is not enough to fight dehydration, sometimes you need a drink containing electrolytes to make it go faster
restore body fluids. The way to do this is by consuming electrolyte fluids that are low in sugar or free of calories.
