Indoor Sports Activities

Exercising regularly is indeed very important for maintaining a healthy body. However, most people often excuse themselves from exercising due to their extremely busy schedules.

Here are 10 exercises you can do at home without any equipment. Affordable yet fun to do together:

 

  1. Walking
    Walking doesn't have to be outdoors. You can also take a walk in the corridor or in your yard. You can even try going up and down the stairs in your house, alternating with jogging or light running.

  2. Jumping Jack
    Another exercise you can practice at home is jumping jacks.

  3. Push Up
    Push-ups are a type of exercise that can be done at home without any equipment. They are easy and can be adjusted to your ability, for example, by using assistive equipment.

  4. Leg Lift
    Leg lifts can also be done at home. This movement helps strengthen the leg muscles. You can combine leg lifts with other movements, such as push-ups or sit-ups.

  5. Sit Up
    Sit-ups are beneficial for strengthening the abdominal muscles. This is an effective way to tighten your abdominal muscles that may still be loose.

  6. Jogging
    Who says jogging has to be done on the road or in a park? You can also jog at home. Listening to music while doing it? Definitely fun!

  7. Squat
    The squat movement is useful for strengthening the legs and back. You can practice squats by standing and sitting on a chair. Repeat the movement several times.

  8. Weightlifting
    Weightlifting doesn't have to be done in a gym with dumbbells and barbells. You can use household items like bottles filled with water or sand.

  9. Dancing
    Dancing is a great activity for your heart health. Try free-form dance moves such as breakdancing, dangdut, shuffle, and more. Aerobics and gymnastics also fall under dance workouts.

  10. Stair Climbing
    Although the movement is simple, the benefits of stair climbing are incredible. If done correctly, stair climbing helps strengthen the muscles and bones of your legs.
