Know Your Health Condition from Urine Color

From the color of your urine, you can determine your general health condition. Similarly, if you experience pain or discomfort when urinating, it could also be a sign of a health issue.

Here are 7 urine colors that indicate your health condition:

  1. Clear or Transparent
    If your urine is clear or transparent, it means your fluid intake is adequate and meets the body's minimum hydration requirements.

  2. Pale Yellow
    A pale yellow color is still considered normal. It's natural for urine to have some color because it expels waste products dissolved in water from the body.

  3. Dark Yellow
    If the urine color leans toward dark yellow, it is still within normal limits. However, consider your diet—did you consume a lot of flavored or colored drinks like coffee and tea throughout the day?

  4. Brownish Like Honey
    Be cautious if your urine tends to have a brownish hue, as this indicates dehydration. Increase your fluid intake immediately to counter dehydration.

  5. Dark Brown
    Dark brown urine is a sign that you might have liver disease or issues with your liver. However, further medical examination is necessary for confirmation.

  6. Blue or Greenish
    Urine with a blue or greenish tint usually indicates that you are taking certain medications regularly. Recall any medicines or vitamins you have recently consumed.
