Physical fitness

Physical fitness refers to the condition of the body being able to function well in daily physical activities without feeling fatigued or limited.

Body endurance is also a benchmark for physical fitness. It relates to the body's ability to sustain physical activities over an extended period without feeling fatigued. Similarly, flexibility refers to the ability of joints and muscles to move freely.

There are ten components to measure physical fitness:

  • Cardiovascular endurance

  • Physical fitness builds good stamina

  • Strength

  • Flexibility

  • Durability

  • Speed

  • Coordination

  • Physical fitness trains body agility

  • Balance

  • Accuracy

 

Forms of Physical Fitness Training
Physical fitness can be achieved through various types of exercises. Here are some training methods you can try to get a fit body:

  • Cardiovascular exercises (aerobics), such as running, cycling, or swimming

  • Yoga

  • Gymnastics

  • Stretching

  • Interval training

  • Pilates

  • Kettlebell training

  • Stationary cycling

  • Bodyweight exercises (push-ups, pull-ups, and squats)

  • Self-defense training, such as Muay Thai, boxing, capoeira, karate, and judo
