It is not uncommon for people to continue using their cellphones, often we forget the time when using this sophisticated communication tool from waking up until going to bed. Many people put their cellphones under their pillows when they sleep or at least sleep side by side with their cellphones next to them, sleeping near a cellphone has a bad impact on health, we need to realize that technology not only has a positive impact but also many negative impacts that occur.
Radiation emitted by cellphones can affect our health, although we do not feel the effects immediately, but if this habit is carried out continuously for years the bad effects will appear.
The risk of excessive radiation exposure can cause unhealthy effects on the body, including:
Insomnia (Difficulty Sleeping)
The blue light emitted by cellphones can inhibit the production of the hormone melatonin, this hormone functions to regulate sleep and disrupt the circadian rhythm (the body's biological clock).
Damaging Concentration
Electromagnetic radiation emitted by cellphones that makes blood flow less than optimal, resulting in failure to focus and lack of concentration.
Reduces Sleep Quality
Using a cellphone before going to bed can stimulate physiology and psychology that can affect sleep.
Increases the Risk of Cancer
High invisible radiation emissions are carcinogenic and can affect the human nervous system which can eventually cause cancer or tumors.
Causes Headaches
For some people who are sensitive to the RF waves emitted, cellphone radiation can cause headaches, dizziness, nausea, and even vomiting.
Burns and Explosions
Placing a cellphone near a pillow, especially while charging the battery, is highly discouraged, because the cellphone will heat up quickly and if a short circuit occurs, it can explode and burn.
Damages Brain Cells
Exposure to radiation from cellphones can cause damage to brain cells because electromagnetic waves easily penetrate the brain, with damage to brain cells can increase the risk of contracting various types of diseases such as brain tumors, Alzheimer's, autism, behavioral problems.
