Tips for Welcoming the New Year with a Healthy Body

New Year 2025 is coming soon!

Not only welcoming with joy, you also have to target several important things that must be realized in the coming year, including health.

 

Here are some tips for welcoming the New Year 2025 with a healthy body:

  1. Eat calmly
    Nowadays, eating with your eyes glued to a smartphone or television screen is common. However, eating while you are doing something will cause you to overeat. Therefore, take the time to slow down and pay attention to your food, take a break from work or your daily routine.

  2. Maximize your leisure time and rest
    You may be busy, but don't forget to rest and relax. When it's time to sleep, use that time in a disciplined and optimal way. Darken your room by closing the curtains, turning off the lights, or dimming the screen on the alarm to get quality sleep. Basically, there is no specific time that is right for sleeping at night. However, the average effective sleep for humans in a day is around 8 hours. Other factors such as age, health conditions, and lifestyle also affect.

  3. Learn to be grateful
    Although it sounds trivial, learning to practice gratitude can change your focus and minimize the influence of deviant stress. By being grateful, you can be able to remember every positive aspect, both big and small, every day of your life. This will increase your personal happiness and well-being.

  4. Walk every 30 minutes a day
    You can maximize your 30 minutes of exercise every day. You can start this habit in a simple way, such as walking. Walking at least 30 minutes a day can reduce the risk of various metabolic diseases. Among others, diabetes mellitus (diabetes), high cholesterol (dyslipidemia), hypertension, and coronary heart disease.

  5. Get used to going up and down stairs
    Making small changes every day like taking the stairs - instead of the elevator - may seem small. But in fact, this habit can make a big difference for your heart in the long run. In fact, individuals who are physically active are much less likely to develop cardiovascular disease.
